Global Radio have been an established English speaking Radio Station on the Costa del Sol for 12 years. Located on the beach at Miraflores in the most English populated community in Europe.
Global Radio is also the ONLY official Radio Station for Malaga Football Club, broadcasting live on air from all home games with Paul Breen Turner.
We have weekly Outside Broadcasts from venues along the Coast, presented live on air. This is possible as we have the most “live” presenters of any other Radio Station, unlike the rest who have recorded shows. Recent Outside Broadcasts include La Quinta Seniors Golf Tournament which was also broadcasted on major television networks.
Another recently Outside Broadcast was from Bet In Outlets (formerly known as Wins) along the Coast for the Cheltenham Racing Week.
Global Radio have the biggest listenship of English and Scandinavian communities.
Global Radio broacast from Nerja to Gibraltar, approx 250 kms and inland, and are presently in talks with Bay Radio based in Alicante to broadcast on the Costa Blanca as well.
Global Radio have just signed a joint Media Agreement with The Sur in English, Essential Magazine, and Talk Radio Europe, to be the sole branded Promoters/Advertisers for all concerts and events on the Costa Del Sol, such as Tom Jones, George Benson, Earth Wind and Fire, and Sting!
