aka PBT as known by his friends or people who cannot be bothered to spend the 20 minutes it takes to say his name, has broadcasted on the Costas for more than 17 years!
Early years were spent between his mums home town in Cape Town, and then it was off for some serious sheep sheering in Mid Wales!
PBT got the broadcasting bug in the early 90s and trained with the team at BBC Radio Bristol. He then followed into TV football commentary and a successful 18 month spell anchoring drive time on Talk Sport Radio in the UK with the legendary RodneyMarsh. During this time PBT stupidly offered an any Mike Tyson outside (this was while standing behind Marsh!) On a more serious note, the duo won high praise for their moving last ever interview with George Best….
PBT also owns a Pub in Spain (any offers welcomed!) which we think is a good excuse for him not having a wallet with him!
His favourite singer EVER is the late, great, Teddy Pendergrass…but like a wide taste in music from Frank Sinatra to the Bee Gees and the Black Eyed Peas, to Snow Patrol.
PBT is currently single…but says he is in the market for anything with a “reasonable motor”
