Local councilor Roy Perez says that the new dog park will feature “innovative new furniture designed for dogs”. There will be playful obstacles, rings, see-saws, jumping fences and ramps. The site could also be used to hold pageants and events.
Local resident Martyn Jones told 93.6 Global Radio that the park is a great idea because “there are not enough open spaces for dog owners to take their pets here in Fuengirola. An enclosed space like this will be great, because we’ll know our dogs are safe and they will be able to run around and play”. He went on to say “I hope this will be something really special though, considering the cost!”.
