Migrants Rescued Near Malaga

The Coastguard and National Police have rescued 26 illegal migrants from a boat just off the coast of Malaga.  The 26 migrants were crammed into the small inflatable boat.  Each of the migrants had paid about €1000 to make the journey from Nador in Morocco.

Moroccan Man Arrested

Police have arrested a 50 year old Moroccan man who was on the boat.  They have found maps and navigational tools which indicate he was the skipper of the boat.  He has now been charged with aiding and abetting illegal immigration.
