We are the official Station for Malaga Football Club and present live on air all home matches with Paul Breen Turner presenting.
We have weekly Outside Broadcasts from venues along the Coast live on air. This is possible as we have LIVE Presenters every day, unlike other Stations where they use recorded shows and cannot partake in live broadcasts.
Live Broadcasts to date this year have taken place a LA QUINTA OFFICIAL SENIORS GOLF TOURNAMENT (which was broadcasted on major television networks), WINS BETTING OUTLETS (now known as BET IN BAR) for the Cheltenham Racing Week, the WORLD TENNIS ASSOCIATION at the Puente Romano Hotel, Marbella from the 2nd – 10th April (of which Global Radio was the sole official Station and televised by ESPN and major television networks) BUDDHA BEACH every Thursday during the Summer, SPLASH CLUB every Friday, and of course during the football season, at OUR BAR, EL ZOCO every Saturday!
Global Radio currently broadcast from Nerja to Gibraltar – approx 250 kms and inland 25 kms. We are presently in talks with Bay Radio based in Alicante to broadcast on the Costa Blanca in conjunction with them.
Global Radio have signed a joint Media Package agreement with THE SUR IN ENGLISH, TRE and M80 to be the sole branded Promoters/Advertisers for all concerts and events on the Costa Del Sol such as George Benson, Earth Wind and Fire, Duran Duran and many more….In the past we have advertised for Bjorn Again, Sister Bliss, Cool and the Gang and X Factor!
