Starting Thursday, 25th of June 2015, the Hot Summer Nights comes to beautiful Mijas Pueblo!
A series of five concerts in the wonderful, open-air auditorium in the beautiful town of Mijas Pueblo.
- Thursday 25th June. Swing Night with the Andy Peacock Big Band, featuring Chaz Burnett.
- Friday 26th June. Bruce Springsteen Tribute. 2 hours of the best of The Boss! Plus support band.
- Thursday 6th August. Bon Giovi. the world’s premier tribute to Bon Jovi! Plus support band.
- Friday 7th August. Desperados. The very best music of The Eagles. Plus support band.
- Saturday 8th August. Classic Rock Night. Three tribute bands! Deeper Purple, Pink Floyd & Stereo 80s.

“Hot Summer Nights” is a season of 5 concerts which will be held in the open-air auditorium in Mijas pueblo starting at the end of June. There is a great choice of music to suit all tastes, starting with a 13 piece Big Band and a night of “Swing and Jazz”, then one of the top Bruce Springsteen tribute bands. Lovers of Bon Jovi can enjoy the World premier tribute band Bon Giovi, followed by Desperados performing the best of the Eagles. Then finally a mini festival of Classic Rock with three bands – Echoes of Pink Floyd, Deeper Purple and Stereo 80.
The Andy Peacock Big Band kicks off the season on Thursday 25th June with a night of “Swing and Big Band Jazz Classics”. Some of the most exciting live music from years gone by made famous by music icons like Glen Miller, The Rat Pack and Bobby Darrin as well as more modern artists like Michael Bublé. The Big Band will be joined by special guest Chas Burnett for 2 hours of great live music, with songs old and new in that definitive ‘Swing’ style.
During the interval there will also be video clips featuring many of the famous names in Jazz performing their best known songs.
On Friday 26th June – A special concert to celebrate the best music of “THE BOSS”. This concert features one of the top “Bruce Springsteen” tribute bands. Lead by George Mileson this 9 piece band has been filling concert venues throughout Spain for many years, and this will be the first concert with the full band in Malaga province.
This band is recognised by the ‘Bruce Springsteen fan club’. And George Mileson for the last three years has been invited to perform at the legendary ‘Springsteen Light of Day Festival’ in Asbury Park New Jersey, USA. Featuring the most popular hits of “The Boss”, this will be a most memorable concert.
Support band for this concert are the popular “Stereo 80” playing covers of 80s rock from Bon Jovi, Eurythmics, Queen, A-Ha, AC/DC, Guns n ‘Roses, Kiss, Queen, Dire Straits and many more.
Apart from the Andy Peacock Big Band who start the evening themselves, ALL the concerts have a support band on stage at 9.30pm, and the Classic Rock night has the first of three bands on stage at 9.30pm. Mijas auditorium is a fantastic venue with all seats having a great view of the stage and there will be superb quality sound and great lighting effects.
There are 8 seating areas, the four central seating areas are the Premium seats and are priced from 30 to 35 euros, the outer four areas are priced from 22 to 25 euros.
The Box office at the auditorium is open on the day of the concert at 7pm for last minute ticket sales, doors open at 8.30pm and concerts start at 9.30pm. There are two bars + Mojitos and the Costa Foods famous Hog Roast plus Burgers and other snacks at every concert.
