Costa Del Sol Storms Caused €10 Million Of Damage

Freak storms and flash floods on the Costa Del Sol last week have caused €10 million worth of damage.  Almost a quarter of a year’s rain fell in just one day, with 87.4mm of rain hitting Malaga port in just one hour.  Emergency services received over 200 weather related calls, and it’s thought that over 400 lightning flashes were seen in the area.

2800 properties on the Costa Del Sol were damaged by flooding, with over 700 cars also damaged.
