De-Escalation Decision Due On 15th June
Andalucia will find out on the 15th June if the region will move into the next phase of the de-escalation of the coronavirus restrictions. The region was originally supposed to move into phase two at the end of May. Health Minister Jesus Aguirre announced today that the committee will meet and evaluate the situation, in particular the 14 day accumulated incidence rate, on Tuesday the 15th June.
Andalucia Incidence Rate
The 14 day accumulated incidence rate in Andaucia is now 189.8 cases per 100,000 people. The Health Minister says “We are well above the national average”. 1527 new cases of the virus have been recorded in the region during the last 24 hours. In Malaga Province there have been 232 new cases, and two deaths registered.
