Malaga Facing More Restrictions

Malaga Province is set to be placed into “level 3” on Thursday, due to the increasing number of coronavirus infections.  Andalucia’s Government spokesman Elias Bendodo has said that places “that are at level 2 will go into level 3 because of the rate of multiplication of infections”.

The whole of Malaga Province is currently at level two, and will be affected by the change.  It must be noted at this stage that despite this confirmation, the change won’t be official until it is approved at a meeting of the provincial governments.

Level 3 Restrictions In Andalucia

The conditions for areas in level 3 are:

  • Commercial premises – 60% capacity whilst maintaining social distancing
  • Sports facilities – 50% capacity with a limit of 400 people outdoors and 200 people indoors
  • Cinemas, theatres, and events centres – 60% capacity with a limit of 500 people outdoors and 300 people indoors
