No Major Changes To Costa Del Sol Restrictions. Relief as changes announced by spokesman aren’t approved, with only three Malaga Province municipalities closing borders.
No Major Changes To Costa Del Sol Restrictions
Most of Malaga Province remains at level two after the Junta didn’t follow through on an announcement made previously by spokesperson Elias Bendodo. It had been feared that the province would be forced to apply level 3 restrictions, despite the promising figures and the fourteen day accumulated incidence rate remaining well below the average for Andalucia.
The only municipalities affected by restrictions other than those applied to the whole province, are those with an incidence rate higher than 500 cases per 100,000 people. Two municipalities currently have their borders closed for the next seven days, and one municipality has it’s borders closed and non-essential businesses closed because the incidence rate has exceeded 1000 cases per 100,000 people.
The municipalities with border closures are Alfarnate and Sierra de Yeguas. The municipality with border and business closures is Almargen.
