No New Coronavirus Deaths In Spain
The daily death toll for coronavirus fell to zero on Monday. For the first time in three months Spain has not registered any deaths from COVID-19. Figures for new infections are also low, with only 71 new infections reported yesterday. These figures are a steep drop from the peak of the outbreak, when 8271 new daily infections were recorded. Spain has now registered 286,718 cases of coronavirus, with 27,127 deaths.
Coronavirus In Andalucia
Andalucia continues to battle the coronavirus, as the latest figures provide encouragement for the region. On Monday, Andalucia registered only one new case of the virus. The Malaga area is currently in phase two of the easing of the lockdown. The total number of infections in the Malaga area is 4525 with 287 recorded deaths.
