No Weekend Covid Deaths In Malaga Province
No coronavirus related deaths have been recorded in Malaga Province over the weekend, though the 14 day accumulated incidence rate continues to rise. The incidence rate is now 160.7 cases per 100,000 people, an increase of 10.6 points. Despite the local rise, the incidence rate is still below the average for the whole of Andalucia which is 187.3 cases per 100,000 people.
Costa Del Sol Incidence Rate
The health district with the highest incidence rate in Malaga Province is La Vega de Antequera where the figure is 315.9. In Malaga city the rate is 133.1, and for the Costa Del Sol the figure is now 163.5 cases per 100,000 people.
Over the weekend there were 253 new cases of coronavirus recorded in Malaga Province, as 266 patients recovered from the illness. Since the outbreak of coronavirus there have been 101,534 cases confirmed in Malaga Province.
