Calahonda’s most tasteful restaurant, The English Garden pulls out all the stops for Sunday afternoons! A fabulous, three-course Sunday Lunch – all the required trimmings, plus a lot more choices.
If you haven’t yet tried The English Garden, we recommend you go. As Marisa (the owner) says, “All our dishes are prepared using fresh produce, cooked for you as you order, without any precooking. Most first courses dishes will be prepared in 20 minutes, but many of our main courses, especially if ordered well done, will take up to 40 minutes.”
This isn’t fast food, this is quality.
It’s also a very pretty place to eat. A very relaxing, eclectic decor, mixtures of styles and different tables. All in all, a very nice meal out.

The full, À la Carte menu is a real treat, mouthwatering options, all for under €25, most under €20. The ‘Early Bird’ menu, served between 6pm and 7.30pm, is great value at €22.50 for a fantastic 3-course meal – 4 starters, 6 mains, deserts from the à la carte. Then, of course, the Sunday 3-Course Lunch Menu offers a traditional English Sunday Roast, plus a mixture of fish, chicken, pork, lamb and more.

Only the best quality beef, pork & chicken, prepared to Paul’s very high standards. As he says himself, “but it’s all about the stock”… Paul makes all his stocks and sauces from scratch with only genuine ingredients. No Knorr Stock Pots here!
