Known as ‘Raisin Land’ and part of the Raisin Route, El Borge is a small village in the region of Axarquía, and the top raisin producer in Spain.

Locals are proud of this, and they celebrate it on Raisin Day, sharing their little D.O. Málaga treasures with the thousands of visitors coming to taste them.

Activities include demonstrations of traditional tasks in the raisin industry, from grape harvesting and drying to sieving, mincing and packing. Entertaining and traditional, this is one of the most popular events held in Axarquía.
