Car Ploughs Into Pedestrians In front Of Puerto Banus Club
A black Audi has left the road and ploughed into pedestrians in front of the Ocean Club at Puerto Banus. 7 people are believed to have been injured in total. A witness has described how two men were involved in a fight outside Ocean Club, they then got into the Audi Q7 and sped off, hitting 3 pedestrians as they fled the scene.
Police Chase
Police chased the speeding vehicle, which then caused a multiple vehicle pile up in front of the famous Puente Romano Tennis Club. 4 vehicles were damaged in the crashes, and another 4 people were injured. Police have arrested the driver of the Audi.
An eye witness claims that the driver appeared to be drunk, and may have been British. Parts of the Golden Mile remain closed while a crash investigation team collects evidence. A spokesman for the National Police has said that investigations are ongoing, but there is no suggestion of any terrorist involvement.
