Cocaine Hidden In Plastic Bananas

Spanish police at Algeciras have uncovered cocaine hidden in plastic bananas.  The plastic bananas were found at the port inside 19 boxes.  Each box contained 88 plastic bananas filled with drugs.  The boxes came from Turbo in Columbia and were destined for Huelva.

171kg of cocaine was seized by police during the operation, which was carried out with South American police.  The drugs are thought to be worth €17 million.
