Crackdown On Looky Looky Men
The National Police have announced that they will be increasing their patrols in Torremolinos this summer, in an attempt to crackdown on the sale of counterfeit goods by the “looky looky men” and women who frequent the beaches and restaurants of the Costa Del Sol.
Safety councillor Carlos Barranco announced the new strategy to business leaders and officials. The operation will not just focus on those selling counterfeit goods, it will attempt to reach those who supply the products. Local businesses have been putting pressure on the police to crackdown on these illegal sales.
