Event: The Malaga Carnival
Date: Saturday 3rd to Sunday 11th February 2024
Malaga Carnival kicks off by crowning carnival king and queen. There’ll be children’s parties, music, dancing, street food, parades, concerts, a ‘Battle of the Flowers,’ and finally a wild Boquerón party in Plaza de la Constitucion. The carnival wraps up with a giant Boquerón (anchovy) strutting through the city to La Malaqueta beach, where it takes centre stage in a huge bonfire.
