Calahonda Man Drowns

Calahonda Man Drowns – a man has been killed at Calahonda beach on the Costa Del Sol. Reports are saying that a man has drowned on Calahonda beach whilst swimming, on Thursday 5th May. He was spotted by a surfer and pulled ashore. Emergency services were called but could not resuscitate him. As yet the man has not been named by local authorities.

The coast guard service is urging caution when swimming. The unpredictable weather has been creating strong and sudden currents. Last week two boys were dragged out to see at Calahonda beach by a strong current. They were rescued by their father and are both in good health now.
