Tributes Pour In For Popular Young Brit

Tributes are pouring in for a popular young British man who has passed away in Fuengirola.  Daniel Gibbons was 24 years old.  A talented artist and designer, Daniel had been studying alongside working behind the bar at Jackson’s in Fuengirola.  It is believed that Daniel passed away on the 28th December 2016 due to diabetes related complications.

When news of Daniel’s death began to travel, tributes started pouring in on social media. Friend and colleague Leon Jackson says “Daniel Gibbons you are a great lad who will be missed by so many. Thoughts and much love go out to your family”.

Friend and professional fighter Jay Cucci said “absolutely gutted to hear the news, one of the most genuine lads I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in Spain”.

Mike Young worked with Daniel at Arkwright’s in Fish Alley, and has been a close friend for many years: “The world just became a darker place. Truly the best guy I ever had the honour of knowing.”
