Malaga IPTV Suppliers Arrested
A joint operation between The National Police, Europol, Eurojust and the Office of the Special Prosecutor against Computer Crime has led to the arrests of eight people who have been supplying IPTV. The arrests were made in Malaga and Bulgaria. Police found that over a thousand TV channels were being illegally distributed through two ISPs (Internet Service Providers).
During 12 raids in Spain and Bulgaria the police have seized equipment and taken down access to these illegal viewing platforms.
Ongoing Investigation
The English Premier League accused a Danish man based on the Costa Del Sol of illegally supplying football matches from Sky Sports and BT. This led to a shop in Calahonda being raided.
