Donkey Dreamland is a sanctuary for donkeys close to La Cala De Mijas on the Costa Del Sol.  The sanctuary is staffed entirely by volunteers, and funded through donations and fundraising. Our Afternoon Show presenter Dave James recently visited, you can read his blog about the donkeys here.

Volunteers at the sanctuary know the stories of each donkey.

Visitors are welcome to interact with the donkeys, who love human company.  Admission is free, donations are appreciated.  Volunteers are knowledgeable about each animal and it’s story, and speak multiple languages  including English and Spanish.
