Paloma Park, Benalmadena

Paloma Park covers 200,000 square meters and is located about 200 meters from the main coastal road. There is a rectangular lake with a high jet of water and many paved walkways around this lake and the surrounding hills where one can take a walk.

The park is full of birds and there are hundreds of ducks, geese, pigeons, chickens and roosters, and peacocks. There is also a large pen with emus, and a compound with Mountain Goats. There are also rabbits hiding around the bushes. At the main entrance there is a little cafeteria. The whole park is fenced, with only a few gates.

At the side entrance is a Bar/Cafe with a childrens Play area. This Bar also has a full menu available. At the top entrance to the Park is a Kiosk for sweets, ice creams and Hot & cold Drinks. This is very near a Large childrens climbing frame. Further along from here is the Cactus Garden with yet another pond/waterfall feature. Further along still are the public restrooms and a circular pond with fountain with remote control motorboats at weekends. A beautiful place for a picnic too.

Kids just love this park and the playground at the top of the park has a wondeful , huge climbing and activity centre. It also has the normal playground items and a smaller climbing frame for the smaller kids. There is a flea market and fruit and veg market every Wednesday.
