Description: A Concert to Celebrate Karl Jenkins aged 75.

On Tuesday, May 28th the Choir and Orchestra ‘COLLEGIUM MUSICUM COSTA DEL SOL’ and CAMERATA SINGERS of SOTOGRANDE invite you in the Church of the Encarnación in Marbella Old Town for a very special concert.

More than 100 singers and 50 musicians will perform the wonderful setting by the contemporary Welsh composer Karl Jenkins of the Latin poem Stabat Mater; a 13th century hymn to Mary that portrays her suffering as the mother of Jesus during his crucifixion.

The concert on Tuesday, May 28th is at 21.30 and is our yearly Benefit Concert for the local AIDS Charity, Concordia; entrance is free, but it is hoped that the audience will leave a generous donation for the charity. More information on www.colmus.org
