Malaga Christmas Botanical Gardens.  The botanical gardens in Malaga are brought to life with lights and music.  This year’s theme is “Alice Christmas”.

Malaga Christmas Botanical Gardens

The Malaga Christmas Botanical Gardens return for the seventh year, from the 28th November until the 6th of January. You can enjoy this beautiful night time spectacle where the Botanical Garden La Concepcion becomes an enchanted forest of lights and sounds.  This year’s theme is “Alice Christmas” – inspired by Alice In Wonderland.

This year visitors can meet and interact with storybook characters including Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and the Queen of Frozen Hearts.

Each space along the route—from the Ice Lake to the Golden Heart Dome—has been designed to envelop the viewer in a unique sensory experience that combines art, literature, and nature.

The show also seeks to highlight the heritage and cultural value of the La Concepción Botanical Garden, merging its history and botanical richness with a contemporary narrative that celebrates the values ​​of Christmas: love, hope, and togetherness

Millions of lights illuminate a circular route of approximately 2.2 kilometres and transform one of the most beautiful and important tropical gardens in Spain into a magical place.

There are guided audio tours around the gardens which can be heard through smartphones via QR codes on display.  The experience takes between an hour and 90 minutes.

Admission costs around €15.50 for adults and €11.50 for children.  Car parking costs €2 and includes shuttle busses which run regularly between the gardens and the car parks.
