Description: Memories Are Made of This!  The La Cala Lions are delighted to announce a very special community event in support of their Dementia Support Group: the “Forget Me Not” Tree and Valentine Market — an afternoon filled with love, memories, and something for everyone.

Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love and to cherish memories of those close to our hearts, past and present. What better way to do that than by leaving a personal message on the Forget Me Not Memory Tree — for family, friends, or even beloved pets.

The event takes place at Butibamba Park, La Cala, on Sunday 15th February.

The fair opens at 11:00 am, with the Memory Tree Ceremony beginning at 12 noon, accompanied by the evocative sound of Scottish pipes from Leslie the Piper. The afternoon continues with live entertainment, fun for all ages, a BBQ, burgers, and bubbles.

The La Cala Lions extend their sincere thanks to their dedicated stallholders, entertainers, and supporters — every one of you is helping to make a real difference. Grateful thanks also go to Mijas Town Hall and the La Cala Foreigners Department for their continued cooperation.
