Description: Sponsored walks taking place this coming Saturday in Benalmádena, Mijas and Fuengirola, to raise money from sponsorship or by donation! All funds go towards the Salón Varietés Theatre in Fuengirola, who are working hard to raise money to re-open their doors!
As a cultural association run mainly by volunteers, the theatre has been closed since March 2020 with the exception of a few weeks of limited capacity shows in Autumn. With no government grants, the theatre relies on “bums on seats” to fund everything that they do.
Climb Benalmádena telecabina route, or Sierra de Mijas from Pueblo right to the top, or join a more leisurely La Cala de Mijas boardwalk stroll, or powerwalk the Paseo in Fuengirola with us. 4 routes, all starting 11:30 for 12 midday start on Saturday 20th Feb.
All walks socially distanced in small groups of 2-4 at staggered starts.
