Algarrobo, a small municipality in the province of Malaga holds a festival in honour of its patron saint, San Sebastian, every January.

The celebrations begin mid-morning with an open-air dance and continues throughout the day with performances by different local dance groups, in addition to food tasting and typical drinks of the region. As night falls, the saint is taken on a procession through the streets of the town, accompanied by rockets and fireworks.
