Thanks to its privileged location, Jimera de Líbar is a rainy place throughout the year. In August, locals pay tribute to rain and water in a refreshing party where they throw buckets of water at one another – a fun way of fighting the heat at this time of year.

Besides the water fights, there are other water-related activities whose aim is always the same: having fun.
