70 Year Old Brit Shot In Mijas.  A 70 year old British man has been shot in the leg during a robbery at his Mijas home.

70 Year Old Brit Shot In Mijas

A 70 year old British expat has been shot in the leg, during a break-in at his home this morning.  Police are hunting for two men who broke into the villa in the Chaparral area of Mijas Costa at 8.30am.  The victim is now being treated for the gunshot wound at a local medical facility.

Emergency services attended the villa in Chaparral.

Police Investigating

The burglars were disturbed after they broke into the villa by the 70 year old British expat.  A neighbour says that the man told the burglars to leave, and one shot was fired.  The men fled the scene without taking anything from the villa.  The Guardia Civil are now investigating.
