Casares Beach Gets Blue Flag – another Costa Del Sol beach has been awarded the prestigious blue flag.

Casares Beach Gets Blue Flag

The Blue Flag is awarded to beaches which reach exceptional standards when it comes to lifeguards, access, water quality, safety, hygiene, and accessibility.

Casares Playa Ancha is now one of 586 beaches in Spain to hold the Blue Flag award.  Local mayor Pepe Carrasco said “This flag fills us with pride as the town hall has worked hard to improve our beaches”.
