David Tennant Filming New Drama On The Costa Del Sol

Iconic British actor David Tennant will be filming a new eight part drama for Disney here on the Costa Del Sol.  “Rivals” is based on the best selling book by Jilly Cooper, set in the ruthless and sometimes comical world of 1980s television.  Filming is due to begin on the 18th of September.

Starring alongside David Tennant will be Alex Hassell (The Boys), Bella McLean (Sex Education), and Danny Dyer (Eastenders).  “Rivals” is being produced by Spanish company Fresco Film and shot by ITV Studio’s Happy Prince label.  The series will be shown on Disney+.
