Delays At Gibraltar Border

Spain’s Guardia Civil are carrying out additional security checks and vehicle searches on cars and vans crossing from Gibraltar into Spain.  National Police are also carrying out their own searches and checks on some vehicles.

The extra security measures have lead to long queues of vehicles trying to exit Gibraltar. The Royal Gibraltar police have deployed additional officers to help deal with the queues.
