Dog Walkers Fined For Not Carrying Bottles And Bags

Dog walkers in Ronda can now be fined €200 for not carrying bags to pick up dog waste, and water to dilute their dog’s urine.  Police are able to ask dog walkers to present the bottle and bags, and issue a fine if the dog walker is unable to do this.

Ronda council’s environment minister Juan Carlos Gonzalez says pet owners have an obligation to clean up after their dogs.  “We want all pet owners to know about the new regulations and their obligations to prevent the town getting dirty, because animal waste is not being cleaned.”
