Mijas Costa Fire Caused By Car Extinguished.  A blaze began on Sunday afternoon when a vehicle fire spread to land in the Riviera Del Sol area.

Mijas Costa Fire Caused By Car Extinguished.

Fire fighters have extinguished a blaze in Mijas Costa this afternoon.  At 5.30pm on Sunday a car caught fire on on the AP-7 at KM203, the flames quickly spread to the surrounding land.  Ten aircraft were scambled along with 100 fire fighters to tackle the blaze.

The blaze was declared “under control” by Infoca at 2am today, and “fully extinguished” at 1.45pm .  No injuries have been reported.
