Popular Costa Del Sol Dog Beach Reopens
The popular dog friendly beach at Torre Del Mar on the Costa Del Sol has been improved and reopened, ready to welcome pets and their owners. The beach has been awarded the Q flag for quality and the new facilities. Dogs can now enjoy a secure fenced area with a doggy playground, dog toilets, showers for dogs, and toilet facilities for people.
The beach now has shower facilities for the dogs.
Recent storms had washed away much of the sand and damaged existing equipment and facilities. Dog owners have welcomed the redevelopment and repairs. Local resident Sam Cullen said “It’s great that the dog beach has been repaired and reopened. We love coming here to meet other dogs and their owners, it’s a great social environment and fantastic fun for the dogs”.
