Easyjet staff at Malaga Airport are also on strike.

Easyjet staff are also striking on the following dates: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 15th, 16th, 17th, 29th, 30th and 31st July at Malaga airport.

Working Conditions And Pay

Easyjet staff are on strike in protest over working conditions and pay in Spain.  A protestor at the entry to terminal 3 explained that striking is not wanted, but is neccessary as negotiations have failed.  He told us that the pay disparity for workers in different European countries is too great.  The protestor is claiming that Easyjet staff in Germany are paid €1983 per month, in France the salary is €1850 per month, but staff here in Spain are paid €950 per month.  Easyjet said they were unable to comment on staff salaries.
