Strikes Cause Cancellations At Malaga Airport. At least 16 flights have been cancelled today at Malaga Airport due to strike action by Ryanair cabin crew.

Strikes Cause Cancellations At Malaga Airport.

Striking cabin crew staff at Ryanair have caused at least 16 flights to be cancelled at Malaga airport today.  In total the airline has 48 flights scheduled to arrive in Malaga and 47 scheduled for departure today.  Ryanair’s CEO Eddie Wilson says the airline is working hard to cover the striking crews, and believes the strike action will “have a minimal impact”.  The strikes by Ryanair cabin crew are due to continue tomorrow (Friday 1st July) and on Saturday 2nd July.

Easyjet staff are also planning strikes which will affect flights at Malaga Airport.

Easyjet staff are also planning to strike.  Their action is scheduled to take place on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 15th, 16th, 17th, 29th, 30th and 31st July and will affect travellers at Malaga airport.
