Teen Continues To Run Despite Lockdown
A Costa Del Sol teenager who has taken up a challenge to run every day for a whole year is remaining upbeat despite the lockdown. Samuel Clarke from Riviera Del Sol is now carrying out his running in the parking garage of the apartment complex where he lives with his family in Riviera Del Sol.
Running In The Garage
Samuel told 93.6 Global Radio “It is frustrating running lengths in the community garage , but I can only be grateful that I am still able to run. I upload my daily videos and send them to my Instagram and Facebook Campaign, this way I can still create the awareness and much needed donations for Chestnut Tree House Children’s hospice.”
Samuel J Clarke is running every day for a year in memory of his cousin Tia.
Samuel is running every day for a year to raise money for Chestnut Tree House, a hospice who cared for his 13 year old cousin Tia who passed away after suffering from Batten’s disease.
Every day Samuel is running between 5km and 10km, and when the lockdown is lifted he plans to take part in races in the UK, and around the world. Today is the 82nd day of Samuel’s running, and he has already raised over €1500.
