La Cala de Mijas Feria
La Cala de Mijas comes alive for the Feria. The Feria ground next to the A7 hosts live music, dance, food and drink, and fairground rides. During the celebrations the town centre will host many attractions and performances.
The celebrations begin with a parade running through the main streets of La Cala, accompanied by music bands, majorettes and the queen of the fair. This is followed by the official opening of the fairground, the switching on of the lighting and the opening of the Municipal Booth, in which a glass of wine is offered to the attendees. The fair ends with a great fireworks display.
