Cruise Ships Returning To Malaga. Spain has opened it’s borders to international travellers and is now allowing cruise ships to dock at Malaga.
Cruise Ships Returning To Malaga
Cruise ships are returning to Malaga, following the relaxation of international travel rules by the Spanish government. From today (7th June) Spain is accepting travellers from all countries, who can provide evidence that they have received the coronavirus vaccine. This means that the port of Malaga will once again be able to welcome international cruise ships.
“Overcoming The Pandemic”
Speaking at a tourism fair in Madrid, Spain’s president Pedro Sanchez said that opening the borders heralds “a new stage of overcoming the pandemic, repairing the damage and the transformation of the country is beginning.” Although the rules now allow cruise ships to dock, it will be some time before travel operators can schedule visits and plan their itineries.
