No Covid Deaths In Malaga
In the last 24 hours there have been no coronavirus deaths reported in Malaga Province. The number of new cases in the province is 63, bringing the total number since the start of the pandemic to 157,994. Andalucia has registered 169 new cases of coronavirus today, the lowest number for six months.
The 14 day accumulated incidence rate for Malaga Province has increased slightly to 45.6 cases per 100,000 people. The Malaga City health district has seen an increase to 38.8 cases per 100,000 people. The Costa Del Sol health district’s incidence rate has risen by one point to 52.4 today. The incidence rate for the whole of Andalucia is 33 cases per 100,000 people.
The New Normal
The Costa Del Sol health district is now at alert level zero, which is being called “the new normal”. Bars, restaurants, and retailers have welcomed the removal of limits to the numbers of customers and their opening hours. Face masks remain mandatory indoors.
