Malaga Covid Cases Rising. The daily number of new cases along with the incidence rate for coronavirus has risen in Malaga Province.
Malaga Covid Cases Rising
The number of new coronavirus cases reported daily in Malaga Province has increased today. In the last 24 hours there have been 929 positives reported. This is a dramatic increase from the 332 new cases reported just over a week ago. The 14 day accumulated incidence rate has also increased to 344.9 cases per 100,000 people. Malaga Province has recorded 4 coronavirus related deaths in the last day, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2308.
The total number of new cases in Andalucia during the last 24 hours has risen to 2736, the incidence rate has also increased slightly to 269.6 cases per 100,000 people. The total number of infections in the region since the beginning of the pandemic is 1,336,947 with 13,009 fatalities recorded.
No More Masks Outdoors
The rules for mandatory facemasks outdoors have now been ditched in Andalucia. Masks must still be worn inside public places like bars, restaurants, cinemas, and shops.
