A yellow weather alert has been put in place for the Costa Del Sol on Sunday. The warning is for gale force 7 winds and heavy rain. Spain’s national weather agency has activated the alert from 6am on Sunday the 20th March until 8am on Monday.

Force 7 winds could reach speeds of around 60km/h with waves up to 4 metres. Along with the gale force winds we are expecting some much needed rain and possibly thunderstorms. Rainfall would be welcomed as local reservoirs have extremely low water levels and experts are warning of drought conditions.
