Earthquake Felt On The Costa Del Sol.  Shakes and tremors were felt on the Costa Del Sol as a minor quake took place near Melilla.

Earthquake Felt On The Costa Del Sol

A small earthquake has been felt on the Costa Del Sol.  This afternoon at 2.35pm the quake was registered with a magnitude of 4.7 degrees.  The minor quake hasn’t caused any damage and there are no reported injuries.  People have described feeling an uncomfortable shaking briefly accompanied by a rumbling sound.

The epicentre of the earthquake is close to Melilla.

The epicentre of the earthquake was just off the coast of Melilla in the Alborán sea.  It originated at a depth of around 8km.
