Weather Warning Increased To Amber Alert. AEMET have increased the weather warning to an amber alert for thunderstorms and a risk of tornados this evening on the Costa Del Sol.

This evenings weather warning has had it’s severity level increased to an Amber alert. Spain’s national weather agency (AEMET) is warning “The possibility of a tornado and waterspouts can’t be ruled out” this evening (5th November). An amber weather warning is in place from 6pm until midnight. Thunderstorms could deposit 30mm of rain an hour on the Costa Del Sol. Gale force 7 winds which could reach speeds of up to 70km/h are also being forecast.
