Fuengirola Fire Update

The fire on Thursday 10th March which gutted Pogs Irish bar broke out at 8pm on Calle Lamo de Espinosa in Fuengirola.  Seven businesses were affected by the fire, which took 14 hours to extinguish.  Local residents assisted firefighters from Mijas and Fuengirola who were tackling the blaze, which has devastated Pogs and also damaged restaurants and a hair dressing salon.

The cause of the blaze has not yet been established.  No injuries have been reported.
