Malaga Metro Strikes Set To Hit Holy Week

Travellers are facing disruption during Holy Week in Malaga as Metro workers will be striking on Monday 30th March, Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd April.  Workers are demanding equal pay in line with staff in Seville, and changes to rules which govern how often drivers take breaks.

The Metro will experience partial shut down as the strikes take place during the following times:

  • Monday 30th March from 5.30pm to 8.30pm
  • Tuesday 1st April from 5pm to 8pm
  • Wednesday 2nd April from 6pm to 9pm
