Spain’s national weather agency (AEMET) has issued an amber weather warning for the Costa Del Sol. The amber alert is the 2nd most severe weather warning. Heavy rain will continue to batter the Costa Del Sol until Friday evening, when the warning is likely to be lifted.

Heavy Rain And Strong Winds

Rainfall could reach quantities as high as 20 litres per hour, as coastal areas face strong winds and high waves. The rainfall is expected to reduce on Friday night, with a cloudy but dry weekend forecast.
