British Driver Arrested After Fatal Marbella Motorbike Crash
A British woman has been been arrested after a fatal crash on the A7 near Marbella on Saturday evening. Witnesses have described how a Mercedes rental car was being driven in the wrong direction along the A7 near KM174 at Puerto Banus. The van collided with a motorbike which burst into flames. The 28 year old Columbian rider, who was delivering food, died at the scene.

British Driver Appeared Drunk
Following the crash, the driver of the damaged Mercedes continued driving in the wrong direction, before abandoning the van and walking to a petrol station to call a taxi. Police found the driver hiding behind the car wash, showing signs of intoxication. Police are now waiting for results from blood tests for alcohol and drugs.
